Swiss Aquatics Winter Challenge - Uster

On Friday and Saturday (December 18th and 19th) I participated in one last competition for 2020. In Uster, I competed in the unusual (for me) 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle. This resulted in two personal bests: 49.95 in the 100 (previous 51.47) and 1.47.76 (previous 1.50.43). I am very satisfied with the important improvements, but I am even happier with the fact that the Swiss national team is developing a 4 x 200 freestyle relay team of, at least, European level. At the moment there are 4 swimmers who have clocked a time under 1.48.00 in recent months (besides me, there are Nils Liess, Antonio Djakovic and Roman Mytiukov)... And, believe me, there is still room for improvement!
Good omens therefore for 2021, in this month of December which for me is truly exceptional.
